Dear Members and Members in Waiting,

RE Chairman’s Update

I trust this letter finds you well and in high spirits. It is with immense pride and enthusiasm that I address you as the newly appointed Chairman of the 100 Property Club, succeeding the dedicated former Chairman, Tim Baker. First and foremost, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Tim for his outstanding leadership and commitment to our esteemed club. Tim, your dedication has set a high standard, and we owe you a debt of gratitude for your tireless service.

As we embark on this journey into the future, I am genuinely honoured to lead a group of such dynamic individuals who share a passion for real estate. The 100 Property Club has a rich history of fostering connections, knowledge-sharing, and camaraderie, and I am wholeheartedly committed to nurturing and enhancing these core values.

Our club’s strength lies not only in its members but also in the diligent work of our committee. I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge the extraordinary efforts of our committee members, who generously volunteer their time and energy to ensure the success of our club. They have organised an array of remarkable events, from challenging golf tournaments to the delightful end-of-summer drinks in Richmond and enlightening technical tours. These events have been instrumental in fostering networking, friendships and expanding our collective knowledge.

This year’s Christmas Ball is shaping up to be a truly magical and unforgettable evening. I’m delighted to announce that ticket sales for this much-anticipated event are well underway, and I want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated sponsors, who have been the backbone of our success for many years. We are incredibly fortunate to have The Orion Group as our Main Sponsor, Adair Ltd as our Drinks Reception Sponsor, and General Demolition as our Cash Prize Draw Sponsor. Their unwavering support and generosity have played a pivotal role in making our Christmas Ball a resounding success year after year, and their commitment to our club is deeply appreciated. Together, with the support of these outstanding companies, we are poised to create an enchanting and memorable evening that will surely be the highlight of the holiday season for our members and guests.

In the coming months, my focus will be on building upon the solid foundation of the 100 Property Club and exploring new opportunities for growth and engagement within our membership. I invite each of you to share your ideas, suggestions, and feedback to help shape the future direction of our club. Your input is invaluable, and I am eager to hear your thoughts.

In conclusion, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all of you for your continued support and dedication to The 100 Property Club. Together, we will continue to build a thriving community that fosters excellence.

I look forward to seeing many of you at the next club lunch on the 12 October (do book a place now if you have not already done so).

Wishing you all prosperity, success, and fun for the year ahead.

Warm regards,

Richard Dawtrey BSc MSc MRICS
