105th Annual Christmas Dinner

The 100 Property Club committee and its members enjoyed a spectacular 105th Annual Christmas Dinner at the Intercontinental Hotel, Park Lane on 7th December 2022.

This was the biggest event of the year, attracting over 300 guests from across the London and Home Counties property world.

The event provided a fantastic opportunity for the whole membership to get together to raise funds towards some well-deserved charities whilst enjoying a great night of networking in the heart of London’s Mayfair, and we were absolutely delighted to welcome our guest speaker for this year, Mr Steve Coogan.

The evening was a great success, raising over £35,000 for the Club’s charities and donating funds to Mr Steve Coogan’s own charitable fund The Lighthouse Project.  This brings the total funds raised by the 100 Property Club to £1million.  An outstanding figure, which demonstrates the generosity of the property industry, in what has been an extremely challenging and difficult couple of years for us all.

Our special guest speaker for the 100 Property Club’s 105th Annual Dinner was the incredible, Mr Steve Coogan, English actor, voice artist, comedian, screenwriter and producer.

Steve Coogan

Steve is a prolific writer, actor and producer and has won seven BAFTAs and seven British Comedy Awards for his work across TV and Film. His credits include Alan Partridge, The Trip, 24 Hour Party People, Stan & Ollie, and the Oscar-nominated and BAFTA-winning Philomena. His production company, Baby Cow, have made some of the best loved TV comedy of the last twenty years including The Mighty Boosh, Gavin & Stacey and Hunderby.

Steve is a supporter of the Lighthouse Project, a non-profit community hub for disadvantaged and marginalised people in his hometown of Middleton, and L’Arche, a charity that creates communities with a culture of shared lives between people with and without learning disabilities.

Steve was delighted with the charitable donation and the monies raised on the evening and thanked the 100 Property Club committee, sponsors and members for their generosity.

The Annual Dinner is when the Club members come together to celebrate the year and raise money for charity. In the spirit of this event, Steve very generously donated one week’s stay at his country house in Coniston, Cumbria as well as photographs capturing the spirit of the event with himself for our sponsors and our auction prizewinners with all proceeds donated to the charity – this was something a lot of people didn’t want to miss, and we were delighted to capture these for members on the night.

Next year’s event will be even bigger again as we celebrate our 50th anniversary of the 100 Property Club – watch this space for more details as we begin planning the 106th Annual Dinner to take place somewhere in the London area.
